Ermac

Ermac is a red-clad ninja who uses the powers of telekinesis to eliminate his enemies. He made his first appearance in Ultimate Mortal Kombat though was a subject of fan speculation saying that he looked like a glitch in the original game. It was said that by overplaying Scorpion in the first Mortal Kombat game, the screen would glitch and then turn Scorpion's yellow outfit red. The MK team then decided, after denying his existence, to create him and thus he was created for Ultimate Mortal Kombat. He is a combination of many different souls hence his battle cry being "We are many, you are but one." His alliance is to Shao Kahn and against Earthrealm. Personally I am not a fan of Ermac as I find him to be quite a hard character to counter, however that does not mean I have not managed to beat him on a few occasions.
